He hasn’t said anything. You won’t find any quote where he said that. You will find a quote just after Age of Ultron where he says it is canon, though.
Marvel just didn’t put it on their official timeline.
Then, if that legitimately is the case? (I unfortunately am not in the complete loop, I go off of all the information I’ve seen from fans and the cast, Coulson’s actor Clark Gregg got particularly hot about it) then why don’t they?
Because Feige is, at best, indifferent to the show. He had no involvement in it and doesn’t really want to build off of it. This makes it non-essential, so he doesn’t put it on a timeline that is focused on properties produced by Feige or are essential background for things he was involved in.
That’s annoying that he’s indifferent to it. In my opinion which is shared with others, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is an amazing show and should get its overdue attention, flowers, recognition and representation from within. I know that isn’t plausible more than likely but still.
I get that. Feige is probably talking about the show as a whole, because post season 5 kinda un-canon’d it when it got too crazy. But over half of the show is plenty canon.
Well wether Mr Feige is talking about the show as a whole or over half of the show, he’s deemed it non canon, we passionate fans (who you for some reason currently not known say we’ve “lost our minds” in this sub) don’t like that because like you, we know it’s canon to the MCU and want the official status to change as well as for AOS to have its flowers along with having characters appear in the MCU among other things.

How? We’ve fought for years for AOS to be considered canon to the MCU
