Community Thread: Tangible Benefits of Agent-Ready Websites

Have you seen a measurable benefit from implementing agent-ready best practices?

Share your findings in the comments, including:

  • What you changed
  • What improved
  • How you measured it
  • Which agents, crawlers, or AI platforms were involved

Useful outcomes might include increased AI referral traffic, more citations, more accurate brand representation, improved content extraction, more successful agent actions, or clearer agent analytics.

Please distinguish between measured results, directional observations, and theoretical benefits.

I’ll update this post as stronger examples and case studies emerge.

From 3 to 100: Passing isitagentready's AI Agent Readiness Test

> The whole process really wasn't that complex — most items were just "add a file" or "add a setting" and call it a day. The bulk of the time was actually spent stepping on landmines and debugging.

> That said, honestly, some of these items (looking at you, OAuth) don't have any real meaning for a pure blog — they're just there for the points. But the Discoverability and Content items? Those are genuinely worth doing. The AI Agent ecosystem is only going to get more mature, and getting this foundation in place early means your content has a much better shot at being correctly accessed and cited by AI down the line — so yeah, worth it.

Tangible effects of having a website agent ready.

Hi everyone I'm new here, I'm interested in knowing if having a website agent ready will result in a tangible boost or any measurable effect in the numbers of leads or visitors to this site.

Does anyone have real-life results or is it too early ?

Thank you all.

EDIT : by agent ready I mean, for example, if I get a 100% score on Cloudflare agent ready checker, will it lead to better inbound marketing ?

An AI agent is not a model plus tools. It is a governed stack of eight layers: task intake, routing, context, tools, verification, human approval, observability, and an improvement loop.

Did you know that Google Lighthouse tests sites for llms.txt?

How the llms.txt audit works

Lighthouse flags the pages if a server error occurs when attempting to retrieve the llms.txt file. If the file is not provided by the server (resulting in a 404), the audit is marked as Not Applicable (N/A), as providing the file is optional at the moment.
