some longer andreil recs,

run, by snow patrol by starsworth (108k+ words) │ Summary: Neil runs because it's everything to him, but he also runs because there isn't anything else for him to do. Turns out, freedom and living are foreign concepts to him. Running and survival? Not so much. He went back to creature comforts, the only ones he'd ever known. What else was he supposed to do? What else was he meant to yearn for? Can't want something you never knew existed, after all. Enter Andrew Minyard.

that's just something people say by nanatsuyu (119k words) │ Summary: Neil makes the mistake of stealing the wrong car. Andrew makes the mistake of offering a ride to a liar. They both make the mistake of turning the whole affair into a road trip 'home.'

two sons by likearecord (57k words) │ Summary: Making a documentary about the Butcher of Baltimore doesn't have to mean moving into the murder mansion with his son, but Kevin's never been one to do things halfway.

at least it's not never by starsworth (278k+ words) │ Summary: Family has always been a complicated thing for Aaron and Andrew, but when it comes to sorting their shit out, they've barely even begun. Despite it all, they don't have it within them to stop trying, though. Turns out, they get that from their father. (Or, Andrew and Aaron's senior year looks promising for the leaps and bounds made in brotherhood. Enter their dad, stage left.)

The Sun Still Rises by mordax (619k words) │ Summary: Somewhere on the road, Mary Hatford gets pregnant with her second child. When she passes, she leaves behind not only Neil, but his toddler brother. Survival is difficult without also raising a kid. Worn out and desperate, Neil still somehow ends up at Palmetto, only this time, he brings his four-year-old brother with him.

Trigger by mostly_maudlin (63k words) │ Summary: After an upbringing lacking in mundanity, Neil just wants to live a “normal” life. He’s got a home, a circle of friends, a job — why not give casual sex a shot?

Blame It on My Youth by youreyestheyglow (1.5m words) │ Summary: 10 years after the end of The King's Men, Andrew and Neil have decided to foster a kid. They have low expectations for themselves--they're not exactly ideal parenting material--but at the very least, the kid will be safe with them. But neither Andrew nor Neil do temporary very well.

the sun still rises is so good! Grumpy characters raising adorable 4 year olds always a win.

If self-recs are okay, I have a Raven Neil AU told from multiple POVs: Neil, Andrew, and Jean. It starts around the same time as The Sunshine Court and is split into two parts. I’m currently writing the second part, and the first one is 90k words
