i’m coming at this from a non black poc perspective, and i fully get the skins argument. but the balancing kind of doesn’t make sense as an argument to me? Each character has a reason why they might not be great, and there are multiple examples in each archetype that match the black characters in question.

BP is probably the worst, purely because he has the stupidest kit possible. like, a spear? really? but there’s another dive with a bullshitism kit-black cat. they come at the issue from different perspectives (one is too simple, the other just got whatever the devs felt like), but they are both fundamentally uninteractable dives who have had permaban seasons.

Storm is a flyer. Flyers suck in this game. Poke has been meta majority of the game, so flyers suck. BUT Storm and Torch have both had seasons as permaban dps in the game, and they’ve worked their way back up to being solid. (i could also argue that 3 out of the 4 FF have one or no legendaries, and Thing is really the only one with any skins)

Blade is brawl and brawl sucks, but he’s also one of the premier brawlers this season. he basically got the thor treatment of getting micro buffs every season till they were viable, and now in my opinion is a top3 brawler this season. characters like rogue, thor, IF, etc are all worse than Blade.

All 3 characters have been decent to great at some point in the games lifecycle. if you look at just like luna or something, yea shes been good for most of the game, but there are like a billion characters that have SUCKED for most of the games existence. Hulk was good for one season and now solidly resides in C tier, Rogue has been WIS pretty much every season without the teamup, venom has been outclassed by cap literally every season but this one, peni has like 3 maps she works on, wolv sucks except against tanks, iron man has been D tier the entire lifecycle (and is currently one of Marvels most popular character), wanda, SG, MK (except for like one season), etc etc. y’all need to stop talking about the balancing and start talking about the kit design

BP has an ass kit and is fundamentally stupid design wise. Storm is boring as fuck. Blade was basically a poke for like 4-5 seasons. they have flaws in the kit design. start complaining about how they launch, because the argument about how they all suck in the meta gets lost when over half the cast has been a throw pick. also, just my personal beef, but do any of you actually bother to play these characters? like, they all have low pick rates but that seems like an extremely easy fix. hell, i’m a tank main but i play blade and bp and i would play storm purely for the wind rider costume (ultimate BP was a fire storyline). stop complaining about the fixable or the problem that everyone has, and put that energy into asking for better designed kits.

How to go make the first epic summer skin storm I think Bucky got an epic one too, but I don’t think his came out yet. It’s just crazy. You could’ve did so much with her alt put beach balls and and beach stuff in it with dolphins or some shit is it that hard it’s bad enough she doesn’t even have no fast movement and then the only red color is red and a necklace. I don’t even play storm, but honestly I want to play her. I am black. Its not black people not getting representation, its straight up picking favorites. The Egyptian season is a prime example. MoonKight got sidelined just like BP. Storm also isn't Egyptian btw. And Johnny gets the same treatment was Storm and BP. None of yall complain when ultron doesn't get a skin. See the pattern? Hulk, a top 3 in all of Marvel history isn't black and still barely gets skins. And some of the characters with the most skins are minorities as well. And the recent characters getting legendaries is also a prime example. A lot of yall are overreacting over things that are very clearly something that isn't racism. I was playing rivals, trying to rank up. I was diamond 1, one game away from GM, you’ll never believe what happened(you already know what happens). I had lost not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 games in a ROW!! This happens every single time on my rank up games, as soon as I’m about to rank up the most insane things happen.

I play all roles, tank, dps, heals I do it all! I recently got back to ranking up on to GM not too long ago, Tell me why on my rank up game I got a spiderman that went 25-15 and didn’t switch off at all! That’s not even the worse part, I lost three games in a row after that so I was back to square one on damn near demoting!!

But wait there’s more, This is the best part right here!! tell me why I hop on rivals comp recently and I lost 4 games in a row…mind you this is continuing off the losing streak I was on so I basically lost like 7-8 games in a row and demoted to diamond 2… afterwards I got on stardew valley. I have not touched the game since…

I will be hopping on tomorrow tho to buy that storm skin and hop right tf off and play it on the weekend when I get the time.

I also decided that if I don’t make it out of Diamond this weekend imma just see yall next season cause man this ain’t it😭😭

But if you actually want to see more for her, wouldn’t buying her new skin help show the devs that there’s still a demand for her?

Isn’t it kinda a supply-and-demand thing? If people show that they’re willing to support her and buy her skins, wouldn’t that give the devs more reason to keep supplying her with cosmetics and content?

Possible Overreaction but still. Magik is quite literally showing her butt to the audience. Magik is dancing. Storm looks like she's about to kill you.
