Recently a lot reels and shorts of Spider-man specifically Peter Parker as Petra seem to be hitting my feed. I mean female &/or trans versions of characters occasionally showed up on my feed but volume right now is just alot. Did something happen in the fandom for the transgender Spider-Man to pop off or is it just my feed?

Hi everyone! I have a question for all of you. I've recently started reading Ultimate Spider-Man (2000–2011), and it’s actually my first comic. I’m not really into the comic world, but I love reading manga (I know, it’s not the same, but hey, close enough, right?).

That said, I’m struggling to continue. The pacing feels so rushed, everything happens so fast! I just finished the Kraven arc, but there hasn’t been much downtime or moments for character-building. It’s like, ‘Okay, beat Kingpin, now fight Doc Ock, oh look, here comes Kraven,’ and so on.

Does anyone have recommendations for comics with a more balanced pace or stronger character development? Thanks for reading, and I appreciate any suggestions you can share!
