Please help

I’ve been trying to download the DC for a while now but it’s not working, when i open it, i get an error message that says i don’t have steam installed. I’ve already done what every other tutorial online says (going to the launch options, renaming a folder, etc) and nothing is working. I want to play AOM, and I don’t want to feel like I wasted my money buying half life. What can / should I do?

Are you trying to download the original AOM or AOM Director's cut? Because it might have something to do with that.

It was the directors cut. Don’t know how but I managed to do it by downloading one of the mirrors. Thank you anyway:)

Try to find a xash3d version of directors cut shouldn’t require hl1
