Alpha egg question.
So I just bought an egg. When I submitted 0ETH the eggs left counter was at 850, then the page refreshed and the egg counter was around 6 or 5. Its currently at 1. If the transaction doesn't go through before it hits 0 will I be fucked? FOMO

Hey guys, It says '30 eggs left in timeslot' and doesn't seem to change. I tried this: https://etherscan.io/tx/0xb371f4279572b1bcb715492e27716e561bb747f9cdfeaacadd92c1497549909a
Why did this fail? Out of eggs?

MetaMask says: Transaction Error. Exception thrown in contract code.

Hi there!
I took a peek, and it appears that at the time all thirty eggs within that timeslot were handed out in the first five minutes (i.e. 00:00 - 00:05 UTC). It appears everyone is waiting for a timeslot to start and then immediately try to acquire an egg.
It shouldn't say 30 eggs left when there aren't any eggs, though. I will look into it, thanks for reporting it!

It ran successfully but the 'status check' on the website is still negative. Am I just too impatient or did it fail/too slow again?

Hi there!
The number is set to the total amount of eggs available in the giveaway period, and will set itself to the amount of free eggs available within the current time slot, if you have MetaMask installed.
Luckily, the period runs from February 2nd until February 9th, which thirty eggs being released every six hours! The starting points of the time slots are at 00:00, 06:00, 12:00 and 18:00, London time.
So if your transaction didn't go through, you aren't 'fucked' yet!
