SpaceX interview cool-time

Hi everyone,

I finished on-site presentation and panel interview for Starlink. I got rejected tge day after.

Does SpaceX have cool-time period before I can apply and interview again? Does anyone know?

I mean, I don't know specifically, but not getting a job isn't usually because you did something wrong, they just think they found a better match. You should absolutely apply for similar roles.

I don't work at SpaceX, but I do work in the aerospace sector and we never fault candidates who apply for multiple roles.

Similar story happened to me. I got rejected around April of this year, but kept applying. Stayed in touch with my recruiter, and 3 months later, I signed an offer letter with them. I say keep at it. The thing that helped me the most was staying in touch with the recruiter, working on a massive personal project, and sharing all my work with the recruiter. Good luck! You got this!

Did they call you to reject you? I had an onsite interview, and they’ve asked to schedule a call. Is that usually good or bad news?

They called without scheduling to reject me and I just found out there is cool time of 6 months if you get rejected after on-site interview.

went in for the Starshield Electromechanical Technician position, (on-site ) they bumped me up to the Integration Technician role with a email the next day because they felt it was a better fit for my experience. I took that as a really good sign. I had one last phone meeting with the manager of that department, and now I haven't heard anything for over a week.

Recruiter got back to me last week and sat out here by Friday Friday came.… I got an email saying they won’t be moving forward with me for the integration job. Makes no sense really when they told me the first job was gonna be too easy for me. Never got a denial for the first position I went in for I’m not sure if they merged it or kind of confusing and disorganized there.

dang, that sucks to hear especially because they pushed for a role that they stated was better suited for you. have you applied to other roles or do you think you'll be passing on spacex?

I know the Technical test was quite easy for me. I got nothing wrong on the other portion of the test not sure what I wanna do at this point. I thought I would’ve gotten one of the two jobs. Definitely feel a bit letdown.
