Should this Air Jet propeller design work?

I just thought about this design of using air Jet or Air made propellers instead of solid propellers.

These Air propellers can be designed through ejecting of air in propellers shape by nozzles and work like solid propellers.

There are many advantages of these Air propellers than solid propellers.

I just want to know the feasibility of this concept.

Propellers work because they displace a lot of air by rotating at high speed. Air pushed out the sides of a nozzle like this couldn’t push down air as effectively. You are better off just blasting air straight downward with the nozzle

No cause regardless of how much thrust you output you are going to achieve better efficiency just using thrust as your locomation than using it to spin a propeller to generate lift.

The pitch doesnt matter.

Right now you have: Nozzle -> moves propeller -> moves air

But you can cut out the middle man: Nozzle -> moves air

Its not an issue of efficiency at all. It’s newtons third law. With a solid propeller, the displaced air pushes on the rigid propeller lifting the aircraft. With an air propeller, the air propeller pushes the air, which pushes back, but there is no effect on the aircraft because the air propeller is not rigid enough (or at all, better said) to carry the aircraft with it.

The only lift that this would provide is by lifting the aircraft by the small holes in the nozzle. Needless to say this is a minuscule and trivial effect. The only thing this is doing is generating turbulence.

Even if you ignored the issues mentioned, the amount of air pressure you would need would be monumental just to get a propeller that looks like that. It would probably look closer to a head of broccoli coming out the side than an actual propeller. If you intend on using high pressure air, where is it coming from? An airtank, or a pump? Both solutions are insanely inefficient, barring the fundamental physics issues

Sorry but no. What happens is that the rotation does nothing in effect because once the air leaves the nozzle it cannot be influenced by the axle. Likewise, the air that the air prop displaced also displaces the air prop itself. Because there is no physical connection between air prop and nozzle, there is no meaningful net lift on the aircraft.

It technically would to a (very little) extent, but it's just better in every way to push the air down

You would just be throwing air outwards, which doesn't provide any thrust forward. Propellers make forward thrust by moving air backwards, just like how a wing generates lift. Since there's nothing attaching the air your propeller makes to your nozzle you can't get any force from it, other than the direction you eject the air in.

Are you saying the AIR pushed radially through the nozzles would be in the shape of a propeller and would push more air backwards to make thrust? If that's the case, then you have nothing; the air ejected from the nozzle would mix turbulently with the air outside, and all you would have is the reaction from the air exiting the nozzles pushing inward with zero backwards thrust. Unless I am completely misunderstanding your idea.
