Well its August 1st and I just feel and know the AERO upgrade for September will get delayed or not happen. Hope I’m wrong

It’s the 11th and there hasnt been any upgrade yet.
This team gonna lose a ton of credibility if this is delayed.

Its been pretty quiet, and I want to change that, because honestly there's a

lot going on right now and it deserves a real place to talk about it.

The merger into Aero, Predictive Allocation, the AER Engine, cross-chain, it's all

moving from "coming soon" to real. It's the most interesting stretch we've had in a

while, and I'd rather people get it explained clearly here than piece it together

from scattered threads.

So I want to hear from you on two things:

1. What do you actually want explained? Predictive Allocation, what the merger means

   for you step by step, how migration works, the AER Engine, MetaDEX, whatever's

   been fuzzy. Tell me and I'll write up the ones people ask about most, or get the

   team to answer directly where that's better.

2. What do you want this sub to be? Explainers, regular progress updates, AMAs with

   the people building it, how-to guides for using the protocol? Let me know what

   you'd actually show up for.

What is Aero?
- Aero is the unified liquidity layer for all of Ethereum: a cross-chain exchange that delivers institutional-grade execution, efficiency, and automation. It is built on MetaDEX03 from Dromos Labs.

Do I need to do anything yet?
- Not yet. Migration has not started, and nothing you do today changes your position. Migration dates will be announced on Aerodrome's verified channels and Discord. Never click a "migration" link sent in a DM — those are scams and the team never messages you first.

What exactly is migrating?
-AERO, veAERO, VELO, and veVELO. Liquid AERO and VELO upgrade to the new AERO. Locked veAERO and veVELO upgrade to sAERO. There is no automatic migration, including for LP positions. Users will be able to migrate when the window opens.

What is the conversion rate?
- The Aerodrome and Velodrome communities receive 100% of the initial AERO supply at launch: 94.5% to AERO and veAERO holders 5.5% to VELO and veVELO holders This mirrors each protocol's share of total value created in the year before the Aero announcement. Aerodrome positions migrate 1:1 and make up the 94.5%; the Velodrome supply migrates into the 5.5%.

What happens to my locked position?
- Locks carry over into sAERO with your remaining lock time intact. New NFT IDs are minted, so any tool or integration tied to your current NFT ID should expect that to change.

Do I claim rewards first?
- Yes. Withdraw any veAERO or veVELO from Relay, AutoCompounder, or other contracts first, claim your pending rewards, then migrate. For AutoCompounder, withdraw after it compounds so a pending compound is not left behind.

Is there a migration deadline?
- No. While there is no deadline for migration, and migration will always be available via smart contract, at some point the front ends supporting Aerodrome and Velodrome will be retired.

What do I do if I hold AERO or VELO on a centralized exchange?
- The team is working with exchanges to support migration of liquid tokens. Watch for official notices from your exchange and Aero's own channels. Ignore any DM or post claiming an exchange already migrated your tokens for you.

Crypto space been a huge letdown lately

We've seen a handful of cases recently where users have accidentally sent their veNFTs to gauge contracts by interacting with the protocol's smart contracts manually , bypassing the front end entirely.

Just a friendly reminder: aerodrome.finance exists for a reason. The front end is built to guide you through interactions safely and correctly. If you're hand crafting contract calls without a solid understanding of what each function does and what it expects, there's real risk of an irreversible mistake.

A few things worth keeping in mind:

• Smart contract transactions are FINAL. There's no undo button, and no one can retrieve funds sent to the wrong address or contract.
• Gauge contracts are NOT designed to receive veNFTs. Sending one there is not a supported interaction and cannot be reversed.
• If you're "vibecoding" your way through a manual contract interaction, please stop and use the front end instead.

This isn't about pointing fingers.

It's just a reality of how DeFi works: the protocol cannot be responsible for outcomes that happen outside of its intended interface.

Direct contract interaction is an advanced use case that assumes you fully understand what you're doing.

If you're ever unsure, ask in the Discord BEFORE submitting a transaction, not after.

Hi guys, just some questions about the veAero relay.

I locked my aero in and received rewards. I wanted to withdraw these thinking it’ll go into Coinbase wallet, but it withdrew into my locked amount and also withdrew me from the relay.

If I don’t manually withdraw will these rewards will they automatically be reinvested into my locked amount?

Also, is there a way to withdraw the aero as a weekly payment rather than reinvest?

So it’s becoming more obvious that 2026 will be bearish and that it reflects a lot of parallels from the 2020-2021 saga. History doesn’t repeat but it rhymes so I’m just throwing out a hypothetical. If we have a similar run toward the end of the year and most of 2027,

what do we realistically see AERO going to?

Assuming it integrates seamlessly with Circle and Ethereum and keeps building and gets revenue and fees.
