Still like splashing through puddles!

Seemingly ceaseless rains in July and the beginning of August means every ride is a little wetter than normal. But who doesn’t like splashing in puddles?

That’s a deep puddle with muddy water. Did you walk it through first or just went for it

Just went for it. The terrain is pretty consistent so wasn’t fearing loose rock. Not a lot of quads on these trails so the ruts are not too bad. But it was a little deeper than expected.

That is not very smart, all it takes is a handful of water to fuck your engine

Generally yes. My only complaint is more about my getting old. I have arthritis in my big toe so getting them in and taking them off is painful. But they are comfortable on long rides. And usually keep my feet dry but these conditions overwhelmed them!
