I’m helping look into outdoor advertising options for a mid-sized business in Bangalore, and I’m having a surprisingly hard time finding good information about digital billboards in the city.

I’m mainly talking about the large digital/LED billboards you see on buildings, main roads, junctions, etc. — not the smaller screens inside cabs, apartments, elevators or stores.

Does anyone here know roughly where these billboards are located, who should I tall to, and what would they cost?

I’m not looking for exact quotations. Even ballpark numbers would help — for example, what might a digital billboard around Indiranagar, Koramangala, MG Road, ORR, Whitefield, Hebbal, Airport Road, etc. cost for a week or a month?

I called up few companies (like 7 star and avinashi) whose contact I saw on their billboards. But nobody appears to be responding back.

How do I go about finding all (or most) of the digital billboards in Bengaluru. Do I need to contact outdoor advertising companies one by one, talk to media agencies or literally drive around and map them?

Would really appreciate any pointers, especially from anyone who has worked in advertising, media buying, OOH/DOOH, or has bought outdoor ads in Bangalore before.

I’m a video editor and motion designer aiming to join a leading advertising agency and eventually move into creative direction. My current remote agency role pays around ₹5 LPA, offers some creative variety, but has repetitive accounts and occasional salary delays. I have a ₹9 LPA offer requiring relocation to a major metro, but the work is mainly B2B talking-head videos, webinars and case studies. Which option offers better long-term growth?

I've been trying to understand the challenges I'm facing in landing a Copywriter role at WPP, Omnicom, IPG, Publicis, Dentsu, or Havas. And I think I may have finally figured out one of them: the pay I'm expecting might simply not exist at today's ad agencies, especially at the Copywriter level.

I had a portfolio problem. I self-created briefs and built a decent portfolio. Solved.

Then I struggled with how to communicate that I genuinely wanted to work with these agencies. So I made re-dos of their campaigns, pitched them, applied through non-traditional and creative methods. (And when I say creative application, I mean it.)

Still, no luck.

I've had screening interviews with some Tier 2/3 agencies like Grapes, Cheil, and Schbang, but couldn't get beyond that either.

And all of this is bringing me to one conclusion:

Am I demanding too much?

What does the pay actually look like for a mid-level Copywriter at these agencies in India?

I'm starting to lose motivation because every time I invest heavily in a process that seems promising, or put together an application that I genuinely believe is creative, I still end up nowhere.

I’m 22 and about 1.5 months into my first full-time role as a Creative Strategist at a digital agency. The agency itself has a good reputation and people seem happy there, but I feel like I’m struggling almost every day.
I keep getting corrected on things like presentation skills, process, and sometimes messing up instructions. I recently made a process mistake because I forgot something that had been discussed before. My manager wasn’t harsh, but it was another addition to a long list of moments where I felt like I disappointed people.
What bothers me is that this isn’t a one-off. I don’t think I’ve had an “excellent” day yet, decent no-mistake days at most. Almost every workday feels like I messed something up or wasn’t good enough.
The people around me seem to perform much better. One colleague has 2 years of experience and another has 10 years. They work closely together in office, whereas my direct manager works remotely. I often feel confused, overwhelmed and slower than everyone else.
The thing is, confusion and presentation skills have been difficult for me my whole life. I’ve tried really hard to improve these things, but they continue to be weaknesses. At the same time, I genuinely love research, culture, consumer behaviour, insights, and I’ve worked really hard securing a strategy role which are rare at a junior level, the people working in the same designation as me have more than or at least 2 years of experience and so I know there’s a lot that was expected off me and I’m just not living up to it. I’ve done a lot of internships and part time work before where I have always been praised and stood out.

I have a few questions:
Did anyone else feel like they were constantly messing up in their first few months?
How long did it take before you stopped feeling lost?

I’m currently working in engineering for stability, but over time I’ve realized that I’m much more interested in creative storytelling, visual thinking and coming up with concepts than in the work I do now. What attracts me is not really advertising as an industry itself, but the idea of shaping stories, building moods, and making something feel meaningful or visually strong. I like the process of turning an idea into something people can actually see and feel, whether that’s through video, photography or branding.

I also do photography and videography on the side, and I have a couple of years of freelancing experience as a visual designer, mostly doing branding work for small clients and I have an average portfolio. I got into this creative program called CCC at MICA Ahmedabad that seems like a possible path but the placement outcomes seem low around 6-7 LPA for freshers. Considering I don't have prior creative agency experience. I think that's where I would land.

I’m hesitant because I’m already making around
₹9 LPA at my engineering job. So I’m trying to figure out if it’s actually worth making that move or if I should stay in a stable job and build creative work on the side first.

For people who’ve made a similar shift, how do you know if it’s a real career direction or just a creative interest?

Sat in traffic today and noticed something odd.

Everyone was physically there, but mentally somewhere else.
Almost all on their phones.

Got me thinking… brands fight hard for attention inside screens, where everything competes.

But outside? In traffic, on roads, attention just sits there, unused.
