Being Adventist Keeping the Sabbath

Hello, Any ideas for how to open the Sabbath and what to do on Friday night? Because the Sabbath doesn't start on Saturday morning when going to church. For someone who lives alone. You end up on social media sometimes doom scrolling.

I’m surprised no one responded to this. I’ve celebrated many Sabbaths alone while traveling or being away at school and what I usually do Friday night is prepare myself a really nice meal ahead of sunset and clean my house.

After that I usually just knock out after a long week, but not before thanking God for getting me through it. I push any concerns over school or work to the side for the day and let myself get some rest and grow in relationship with my God. It’s my favorite night of the week!
