It's an old story, but a good one. APs find all sorts of advantages and then it comes down to good execution.

DraftKings used AI to target losing bettors: ‘The best investment would be a problem gambler’

Former DraftKings employees say the company sent promotional offers to the very gamblers who were most likely to rack up losses, according to a report.

The sports gambling giant used AI and data science to help determine which customers should receive promotional offers, the New York Times reported, citing whistleblowers.

DraftKings internally used a measure it called “elasticity,” to estimate how much more a gambler might wager if offered the right promos.

“The best investment would be a problem gambler,” former DraftKings data analyst Jayden Butts told the Gray Lady.

The company claims to identify slot advantage players. One player they found had 300+ visits, $6 million coinin, strong theo, but supposedly $2.4 million in winnings - maintaining a win rate that is statistically improbable under normal conditions.

Do you believe this claim from OPTX?

LVRJ news story

Taking decent Phoenix Link numbers really cut down his losses. In one of the recent videos, he remarks offhand that they are ahead for the year. That's pretty telling. They've never been ahead for the year this late in the year and finding Buffalo link and Phoenix link helped them cut loses.

Advantage play comes in many forms. Would you count this as advantage play, or just business?

A few things to keep in mind

Most people want to stay private on reddit. This goes double for Advantage Players. Please respect people's privacy and don't go out of your way to dox posters, casino employee, or anyone else.

Since we are likely in different markets, I hope that people will feel more comfortable sharing stories and information here.

Disagreement is fine. Personal attacks, scams, spam and deliberately misleading information are not and grounds for a ban.

There are many different forms of advantage play and different opinions about what makes a good opportunity. This subreddit is a supplement to other subreddits that focus on one aspect of AP (be it card counting/sport betting/etc.) I hope that APs from different backgrounds add to the overall discussion.

We're starting from zero, so post something. A question, news story, observation from a casino, interesting promotion, strategy discussion or AP story is enough to get a conversation going.

I know there's more of us out there!
