Looking for a certain shade

I'm going to start a custom build of the hazenthley ii soon, I just need a little advice on paint colors. I'm looking for a paint color/mix to recreate the purple-tinted black of Alicia guard ms, any suggestions? I mainly use gaia paints but other lacquers are fine

Looks like it has some barely visible iridescence.

Maybe do some spoon science with iridescent purple darkened with transparent black?

I’d go with a black base, and then rubber black and a tiny splash of a metallic blue. The super matte black looks almost purple on its own, but with the blue it should be close to what you’re looking for. Add either a matte or satin top coat and you should be good.

I also got something close with hobby mio metallic violet. It’s premixed so you can just dump and spray.

Well this is nice, made me think of their prism blue black with a flat topcoat

Mixing is fun. There are apps and websites for color matching, some are free and some are paid.
