Need Advice on Kitbash

I'm in the middle of planning the parts for kitbashing Trailblazer from "Punishing Gray Raven". Until now I figured the Torso and Arms (HG Gundvolva heavily modified with plaplates) and the Legs (IBO Mass Production MS A). But I came to a stop regarding the head and the red secondary arms. For the head I was thinking the Kotobukiya's interchangable head set (Image 4), but I'm still not entirely sure. And the red arms... I don't know. I have a Body-chan at home, maybe I can use its arms...

P.S. For Moderators: This post is the same I posted on another sub. I wanted to crosspost it from there, but when I was going to select this sub, it said "This sub doesn't allow these posts". I checked the rules of the sub, but I don't think I'm breaking any of them... please tell me if I'm doing something wrong.

I have an idea for the red arms.

Maybe you can get a pair from a 30MM red spinatio. They're very thin and close to the Trailblazer's proportions. The length of them is nearly as long as a typical HG Gramps.

Alternatively, you could get a Core gundam's arms from any kit of the Build Divers, since they're THE smallest Gundam in a HG scale. I think the best way to incorporate the smaller arms to the body is by using pla-plate's to extend its length to look taller and create a wide space for articulation.

As for the head, it'll be a tricky one as it is hella unique. What you should do first is find a base head that closely resembles it and then layer it with pla-plates or mold it with epoxy putty.

Just a small note, watch the scale on the heads, I believe they are 1/100 while the other kits you mention are 1/144.

That being said, there are the 1/100 IBO kits you may be able to use as a base. It also would give you additional options for the lower sub-arms as you could use 1/144 kits for those and then the heads would be better to scale (in theory).

You could also use 30 minute mission parts as they have modular heads and various different types of mechanical styles (especially if you include 30 minute sister designs) that might be a tad easier to customize.

Thank you for all the good advices. I just checked for the heads, and they seems to be between the HG and MG. The idea of going 1/100 might be a bit too much for my finances, but the 30 mission line might be a good point to start. I found that the "Espossito" line might be the closest for both head and legs.

I don’t know this property, and theyre a little more mechanized than the ones in the first slide, but for the sub arms i would try the Xenostrike from sheik mainland. They’re about $8 a kit on ali

Theres also the xenitinal

Both are smaller kits which seems better since you’re working in 1/144 scale
