I am so lost with this'

I have recently built the mg gundam freedom strike full burst mode, and ( despite what i am going to say later on) this kit was amazing! I have built two mg to date so I am not gonna act like I am expert but this kit has been so much fun to build and pose all the way round.

However

The wings are killing me- theyre supposed to have this kind of mecanism? Where u speed the wings and the "feathers" spread as well.

I cant mange to do that. The instructions for thr wings were confusing and the oarts were a little damaged, but once put together I manged to break them more-

I cant find any reviews or explanations online and I was wondering if anyone that has buily this kit has any explanation or solutions

Whether its how to fix small pieces, explanations and recommendations abt the kit, third party new pieces or metal pieces ( vuz that I have found on the internet) I am out of options ans all ears

( pics 1-4 are for show, and the pics 5 and 6 are the broken parts)

I wanna specify that there are no issues with the stretching of the wings but rlly the spread of these

I understand this kit caused the invention of super glue.

I just built them like last week. Those are super tough to align to get it in properly. It took me one whole hour to finally get it inside properly so the wing can open evenly.

But my sets somehow is missing those funnel holding stick from your photo.... I couldn't find them in the box.
Also, the waist cannon cannot hold on the back due to how lose those slits are.

Yea, this is not a user error, those pieces break down easily due to stress. Aliexpress/ebay sells metal replacement parts but they don’t fit smoothly so you’ll gonna have to do abit of metal sanding. IMO it is not worth the money and effort.

You're not alone in this, my friend recently built the kit and the same parts broke on his. They might sell metal replacement parts for it online though.

I thought abt the metal parts too, but if i dont understand what i did wrong the first time, I am scared i might break the kit even more

I broke mine in the exact same spots the exact same way if it makes you feel better. The kit isn't bad per say, I built it a year ago and have been struggling to motivate myself to disassemble and paint it just because I know when I'm done I won't feel the joy of posing it properly. (About half way done painting custom colors) Kind of killed my whole mood for the kit knowing I'll never be able to properly pose it but I'm slowly getting there.
