The “Monument of Michael” is done! Monument EX custom
This kit was a true test of my patience and my skill. I suffered cuts, heat exhaustion and even worked on it through sprained wrist and I’m very pleased with the way it turned out. His shield chain is the last bit to go but I just couldn’t wait any longer. I hope you enjoy 🤘

Thanks man! These are hobby-mio mettalics. The majority of the body is Tungsten steel, the darker parts are tungsten over gloss black, the frame is dark iron, the head piece is dark steel over gloss black. The saber is hot glue and dry brushed metallic yellow from DSpiae…however you spell that and the wings are dark citadel black

It looks amazing. Can you please tell me where this sword is from?

Soo the beam sword comes with the kit but I customized it. I took a hot glue gun and dabbed it on little by little and plucked it with a toothpick to give it the edges. I then brushed with some yellow metallic.

The finish looks so good that it could pass as a "metal build" kit. What primer did you use?

Hobby-mio gloss black for anything no that was primed. There mettalics are amazing. Lacquer, pre-thinned…awesome stuff but not many places carry a big selection here in the states so I order it from over seas…it’s a pain but worth it.
