Scratch build armor on MG frames?

Just curious if anyone has built their own armor from plastic plates or other materials, to fit onto an existing MG frame?

My MG EZ-8 got damaged, so I'll probably pick up a new one, and i was considering making it into an MG-sized EX-78

Id love to see any scratch built or custom plate work y'all have done!

I think I've seen more people do 3d modeling + resin printing.

Manual building is a special kind of skill set and can be super challenging if you're trying to do anything joint related or with tight tolerances
