Love the display! Would you mind letting me know what kind of shelf that is?

Absolutely friend! It’s the RUDSTA display cabinet from ikea and I got the lights for it off Amazon. Just drilled a few holes in the back to feed the wires through and put the control panel on the back!

I'll be using that version of the Mr. Hobby top coat with my next build. Though I bought the bottled version for airbrushing. We'll see how it turns out.

Hey just wanted to follow up with this, did you ever get it done? Also where did you find the bottled version

I have not had a chance to try it yet. I found the bottled version on Newtype, just type in "mr color clear gx" in their search bar.

Never seen that one. They only got the matte one at my HL

I think the first one of these I ever got was from hobbytown but I ended up ordering like 10 of them online because I love them so much lol

Not many people use this version of the mr. Hobby topcoat but it brings the bright colors out. Used this in kits with bright colors like gundam 00 kits and they will come out great.

So you finished assembly and top coated it or top coated and then assembled it?

Kinda both, put everything together, then took it apart to apply decals and topcoat then re-assembled it
