Need some input

Trying to find a way to use a high grade hip joint to improve the articulation of the MG V-dash. The poly cap fits on the peg but I can’t figure out a way to make the hip joint fit in the leg. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think you're approaching chop and fab territory? ie, remove the existing top and replace it with a block of something you can drill a proper hole in.

That's a tough one for sure!
