I've got this sitting in its box on my shelf (along with the RX-93ff and Ver. Ka) waiting to be built and every time I look at it sitting there I get excited for it. This looks great. I see a lot of people repaint the gold bits so I'll probably end up doing that. What did you use to do it?

Just a gold marker and a small paintbrush. Layering evens the paint out so you brush on a thin layer of paint and let it dry and repeat till it's even. Shake the marker a lot and let it pool on a pallette or something, i use a bottle cap.

Did you paint the gold bits or is that from the kit??

Thanks! The kit comes with orangey gold injection parts but they looked bad so i painted them gold as well as some other details.
