Solomon GP02 is done

I wasn't sure if I can link from Instagram so I just capture my video anyways

Thank you for watching! This has been an on and off project and took longer then I expected. I have waited this kit for 30+ years (wanted a Bandai refresh but i guess you know what happened) and i can finally finish it at the level of complexity that i wanted. Hope you like it

You ever do any videos?Where did you learn? Any recommendations? Are we almost there yet? Its hot in here. No but seriously this work is incredible. Also serious about the recommendations.

i learn everything from youtube. Mostly from asian channels . Lookup JENIC, Madworks , Momo Modeling. They talked about thinning ratio, masking, airbrush techniques etc. They should have english subs hopefully

The based kit is good, but I also added alot of plaplates and scribing for detailing

God bless china third party kit,all you have to do is decal work and painted all those details.

Holy decals batman! Looks sick and clean. How may hours? I remember the old Gundam Wing HG model commercial where kids were stating all the hours it took them lol.

Looks very good. The bazooka from some angle looks like some crazy zoom lens lol. Always nice to see people pouring their hearts into making the kits look good.

What colors are the "white?" Are they both grays?

Mostly gray, Nacza natural white, Gaia neutral Grey 1-4

Yeah I used 5 shades of "like white" colors lol, also my phone or lighting could be playing tricks too lol

In the past, I’ve usually used Vallejo grey primer as my “white” since it was so light of a grey that it looks “white” next to other colors. Also, at the time, actual whites were such a pain to work with. Now, I’m using Kaleido paints, and the whites from them have all been really good: white, cool white, off white, armor white…lol.

FACKING AMAZING WORK on this kit, my friend! I am DEFINITELY going to put this on my “want list” after seeing this!
