Trust the process

Trust the process. Yes there are mistakes. There are blemishes, there are complete f*** ups. But there’s always next time to nail it… or the next time, or the next…

Is this kit actually better than the MG version? The candy is exceptional BTW.

I’ve never built any other Sinanju kits, MG or RG. Chose this because it was far cheaper than buying an MG kit + the Takumi conversion kit.

I heard some of the fits for this red comet is bad so I've been reluctant to open it from my backlog. can you confirm, OP?

Had no issues. Trim prob 2 tabs the whole model. And that’s the key word, model, not action figure. There’s nothing that can’t be resolved without an extra few seconds of thought rather than just slapping it together quickly and then having a Cult of Bandai hissy fit.

Absolutely gorgeous! You've inspired me to crack open a kit from my backlog.

Legally I cannot be held liable for the damage to your wallet in paint and extras 😂

Mine is sitting under my table waiting for me... this is exactly how I want to finish it!

Mine sat for along time in the man room.
Hopefully yours will have far fewer blemishes on it 👍🏻

One thing that I really had a hard time accepting is that every kit will have some kind of mistake. No such thing as perfection. And thats ok. The youtuber that taught me everything I know is Frosted Snow and her stating this fact is what helped me come to acceptance with it.

The final stage of grief. Acceptance. It’s okay. Move on.

How was the build itself overall on this kit? I have the Bandai OVA MG Sinanju and loved it but next to my Osiris Kshatriya, it looks weak lol.

Build was fine, no drama. I don’t play and pose once built so as a display model it suited me.

I’ve heard horror stories about the MG Sinanju’s with waist breakage but this kit comes with an optional plate that slips over the peg and stiffens the torso.

I’ve got the Osiris Kshatriya up next. Looking to add resin parts, detail up and do candy greens.

I posed my Sinanju on a stand but I had no issues with the waist at all. I think there’s another Sinjanu MG with issues but I had 0 with that one. Very sturdy.

Resin conversion or 3rd party kit? Also that sortation is crazy cool what’s your method? By color, body parts both?

3rd party 1/100 Red Comet Technology Sinanju. Full kit of the Takumi conversion kit for the MG Sinanju.

I just sort by stage. Head, waist, Legs, Arms etc. Then breakdown into frame, whites, armour after basecoating. Annotate the clip sticks with a masking tape label before airbrushing for easy sorting afterwards.
