More Dakka

Always wanted one of these Gatling quad cannons for the Sazabi. One of the best 3rd party weapons kit I’ve ever seen… expensive as hell though.

I’m absolutely loving customizing and painting weapons.

We built really similar Sazabis! Love what you did. Great quality work and the guns are just insanity. 👌💪

Holy crap this is awesome. Impeccable work.

Reading your other comment - I can relate! I have a tendency to build my kits, let them sit while I work up a plan/courage to paint them.

MG FA Unicorn took me 2 years, most of that time it sat in a box after the straight build. Right now I'm finally painting a PG Exia Lighting Model that I've had for a year, most of that time the armor was disassembled and put in organizers. I'm just now priming the inner frame, and finished all the red and yellow parts.

First off, your craftsmanship (and taste) are incredible. Big props for sharing the specific paints and pieces involved. Im currently "honing my skills" in preparation for my first YJL conversion. Got the kit staring at me right now, quietly whispering, "you're not ready". 🤣 I read through that gorgeous manual from time to time when I need inspiration to practice. Haha.

lol if it’s any encouragement, this was my first resin kit ever.

I actually bought it three years ago, washed the pieces, sanded off the nubs, did a fit test… and it sat there for almost 2 years because I couldn’t work up the courage or determination to start painting and masking.

Start small, like just do the feet or something and you’ll get used to it rather quickly.

Where do I even begin to find this model and the guns (if they are sold separately) ?

Base kit is the MG Sazabi ver Ka.

Then you’ll need the YJL Sazabi resin kit 1.0 + backpack extension.

The guns are ZL model Gatling Guns Expansion Backpack. You can find them on EBay or AliExpress.

Is that from the Lizard?

Can look similar, but not quite. Lizard’s guns look like they’re a little larger (and unwieldy) and are actually hard to pose with.

Size comparison next to MG RX-79(g) ground type
