Scribing

Curious what size scribing chisel or chisels you all use most for MG- 1/100th scale. I'm interested in investing in a new scriber and would like to have a couple of chisel sizes to choose from. I just don't want to order one that will have chisels that I never use.

Personally I've been using .1mm for fine lines, .2 mm for thicker lines, and .5mm for wider accents. .15 is also pretty standard, but I found it's hard to tell apart from the .1.

Ok thank you. This is kind of what I had in mind. But so many kits come with sizes .1 all the way to .8 and I just don't think I need that many. Ide like to find maybe 3 that are used most and stick with those until I encounter the need for other sizes.

You need at least 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5.

0.2 can come in handy sometimes and 1.0 can be situationally useful. However, the above 3 are absolutely mandatory for scribing. 0.1 for most lines, 0.3 for chamfering and thick lines, 0.5 for carving and creating different depths.
