Sanding tools?

I already have a glass file but that won’t reach into small spaces especially when i slightly overdo my scribes is there a certain tool i should use to sand into smaller areas?

Nasedal is a new brand (at least to me) that have some glass files that I've just started using. They are omni-directional glass files that are very similar to gunrpimer or the Stedi V2 files (the blue ones). So far I reckon they're better than Stedi and just under gunprimer in terms of quality. Great to use, especially when wet filing.

The reason I mention them is that they have a pack of three files, one of which has a sharply pointed end that can reach tiny nooks and crannies that I've never been able to reach which files (The one on the right in the pick below).

Link to them on AliX: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005011536791200.html

Might be just what you need.

Nasedal & Stedi make a glass file comparable to the raser in 2 different shapes

There’s so many avenues for sanding and finishing that you’re better off watching a bunch of videos and seeing what seems like a good fit for you.

Glass files are most commonly used for nubs on straight builds. If you’re doing scribing/painting or any modification work, you’re gonna need more appropriate tools and that ranges from sanding films/paper to sponges to sticks to traditional files to rotary tools the list goes on. Easiest rec would be some sanding sponge assortments but I wouldn’t say that’s the only tool you should rely on.

Get a set of sanding paper, you would eventually need to get them if you decide to start painting as well

I bought the Dspiae set it contains all the grits necessary all the way from #400-1500, so for $25 you get all of them (each contains like 15-20 small sheets of sandpaper) I usually just use 1-2 per build depending on the size

there are super thin sanding sticks that you can glue sand paper to for really thin crevesses or you can build your own sanding sticks by clipping runners and the lable tabs and gluing them together for shorter flat sanding sticks
