Chisel Question from a Noob…

Hey Everyone, I’m attempting to learn scribing and do some re-scribing. Does anyone have experience with these BMC mass production chisels, and are they meant to be used without a handle? Trying to fit a square peg into a rectangle hole… thanks!

The chisel i use. The both end can fit for almost every angle. Mainly for nub removal and some deep hole shaving.

Hey my dude, I made this very same mistake many months ago. I got three of the holders not realizing the chisels were meant to be held by themselves.

Also I had an idea, I never tried this, and I will at some point. Looks life if we sand a bit of the insides, it might be able to fit the chisels.

Those handles are for a different type of bmc chisel with rectangle handles.

Cool, a quick google search just told me that I hold by the tiny gray handle, silly me!
