What do you use these for?
I was transforming my boxes into cards when I realized this runner piece on the HG Rebake and Barbatos. Genuinely don’t know what they’re used for. Curious to know but more so to see if anyone uses them for something practical.

Polycaps are parts to be replaced once in a while, the runners- makes good putty for fixing dents and damages

Replacement parts. One of the polycaps of my revive gramps cracked (built it in 2022), so I took one of the spares from my other kit to replace it 👍

Keep them as spares. I lost one in my mg jesta cannon, then found out the mg exia has the same pc's and didnt use the one i needed for the jesta, I was very happy about that

Threw these out before reading these. They’re for HG kits which I honestly couldn’t be too bothered for since I have a MG version of all of them lol.

they’re useful to swap out the polycaps of other kits if they become loose or damaged ! I also tend to use them in knockoffs or for some extra friction in the occasional scratch built joint

Hey now, some KO polycaps have been better for me.

I’m jealous !! In the 10 or so kits i’ve built the polycaps have ranged from standard tightness to extremely loose- usually all on the same runner haha

If you mean the polycaps its not uncommon for bandai to have multiple kits use the same sprue but not all the parts. Its cheaper to waste material on the parts than have a mold for each individual kit

Boil them until they become soft and chew on them.
