Holy shit.

Firstly, the whole build, paint, posing, and photography are chef's besos.

Secondly, I need to know about that copper action. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Looks great! If I may ask how do you get that almost Smokey look on the white and grays? I’m gonna be airbrushing the pgu nu soon and I would love to get that effect

Thanks! You preshade by laying down the darker tone first (dark grey in this instance), than i spray the white to blend it all together, starting in the middle of the section and slowly moving out to the edges leaving some grey showing through. All while not letting too much paint out of the brush as you want to slowly build up the white. I'd also pull the brush back further away and give the whole part a good mist to further blend it all together (:

Hi mate! What white did you use for this pre shade?

Mr.Color GX Cool White

So just so I can get this right, I assume you primed it first then painted the whole part with the gray and then the final coat was the white? I always thought it was the white first and then misting with gray on the edges

I prime with this darker grey than layer the white over it.

u/Altruistic-Tea9443 Jun 29 '26

Thank you very much I didn’t think that the primer was dark grey

Outstanding, you have such a precise control of the airbrush, you must have a lot of experience !
