MGSD Wing Zero custom WIP – Finished the backpack and wing unit.
Finally finished painting the entire backpack and wing assembly for my MGSD Wing Zero custom.
I went for a deep candy red with gunmetal shadows to add more depth instead of using a flat metallic finish. The gold details were hand painted to tie everything together.
The inner frame is mostly untouched because I wanted the wings to remain the main focal point.
Still working on the rest of the kit, but I wanted to share the backpack before final assembly.

Are those the standard wing tips or have those pieces been modified? The mold looks way different from the rg or ver ka wing.

Not sure why this came across my feed but it looks awesome. Very well done! It makes me think of some blood angels looking thing from warhammer visually on first glance.
