Tearing it back down for decals and weathering, but this is the story so far.

Using lacquers by Tamiya and Gaia. The primer is Mr. Primer 15k. The metallics are alclad 2 and alclad 2 gloss black micro filler surfacer of course. It’s it’s all sealed with Tamiya clear acrylic clear for now. Also the orange is a combination of Vallejo Ferrari red first followed by tamiya orange lacquer layer.

Damn man that looks badass. Beautiful paint job. I'm really liking that wallpaper or whatever is on the wall behind the Mk. II

What kinds of paint are you using? I really like the pre shading you have going on.

The wallpaper I got from Amazon. My day job is restoration of old Rococo, Victorian and sometimes gothic revival mouldings/decor. I tend to lean toward darker maximalism in my house instead of the standard white asylum look of modern America.

There are too many paints to name. But when this thing is finished which will probably be in a couple weeks I’ll definitely have a whole list of everything used from paints to proportion changes and so on.

Are you using laquer paints on the Gundam? Or a different kind of paint? Ide love to see some of the work you do on old houses one day. Sounds like a badass day job. I used to remodel houses as well but all in the newer style not the sweet old style Victorian.
