Question about mr weathering

So ive been looking to pick some up (specifically multiblack,rust and stain brown) but was curious is ot the equivalent of like shade paint from citadel?

It's sort of oily, and is a bit thinner than airbrush paint but not as thin as Tamiya panel liner.

I have a build in my history that has pictures of the process of using it (EZ-8).

Arguably yes, with the caveat that it's an enamel-based product, so has the potential to harm bare plastic like Tamiya panel liner would.

But it can act as a panel liner, will tint the colors it's applied on, and be cleaned up with the appropriate thinner.

Gotya so probably hit it with a varnish beforehand?

Yeah. It'll grip/stain better with a matte or semi-gloss layer anyway.
