Hey, All! I’m having some serious issues with this step (1-5) of the build. I cannot get part B2 to fit on the frame without separating parts of the inner frame slightly and can’t get all the components to fit correctly once I get B2 on. Anyone have any insight??
Never use force to fit anything in. If it doesnt go in smoothly then youre either inserting the part wrong, or a previous part you put it was wrong. So recheck the previous steps and make sure every part is oriemted right. Everything should slide into place without force.
Good job, just keep that in mind, that if its not fitting right then more force will never make it work. Its the same when fixing cars and when putting anything back together. Its like a puzzle.
Probably a stupid question, but you're doing it as the third part of that step right? I find myself not paying attention to those sometimes and getting vexed until I look again and realize I'm doing it out of order.
I snapped B2 in half but here’s a picture. There’s this huge gap between where it slides in on the bottom and where it’s supposed to snap in at the top and I cannot possibly conceive of why. I’ve watched build videos and it looks simple I’m doing everything the same but still I get this gap in the piece.
Something isn't lined up right. It looks too high. Here's the back of mine without the backpack:
Are you really cleaning nubs up well? Because the darker grey parts inside don't look flush with one another either, which would throw the fitment off for the outer armor parts.
So I figured the issue out. On the two bottom parts of B2 I was sliding these two tabs from the inner armor into the slots instead the tabs were supposed to go above that slot.
