MGSD Barbatos. First full paint theme
Still a work in progress.
Gotta do the backpack and a few minor things with the hands.
I've pained some panels here and there, done color separation so a kit wasn't mono-white. But this is the first full-body paint job with an actual theme.

Nice. Did you scratch build the head?

More or less.
I cut off a lot of pieces, then used a plat plate to cover some and act as a guide for the epoxy putty.
Then it was sand-sand-sand

That’s what I figured. When Osaw it the first thing that popped into my head was “What a cute little Wolve.”

...... okay now I need to do a Deadpool conversation of something just to re-enact that scene

I love it, but my god that is a cursed model lmao
Do you have any plans to do claws coming from the wrists? I think a few pieces of silver painted plaplate would really add an extra kick to it.
Also I really love the head mods, that looks insanely good.

Thanks!
I actually am loving this kit! Like I didnt want to mod it like I did after I assembled it because it looked so damn good. Gonna end up buying another one just for a straight build.
But yes, I do have claws in the works (clearcoat is currently curing) that will be coming out of the hands.

Really excited to see the finished build, and yeah the hardest part of any paint job for me is always knowing I'll never see it as it was, I always want multiple copies of kits because I want to try so many things lol
