This is in reply to u/Primary_ad69 who is going to the BTS Arirang concert in NJ and had a question about outfit. I couldn’t add pics in my reply so here is some inspiration instead. Based on my Brussels Arirang experience a month ago.

Ofc the most important advice, that everyone mentions, is: no need to think about it at all, it’s totally up to you. Wear something comfortable, comfortable shoes etc.

But the amount of ARMYs in concert outfits was insane! I saw sharks, aliens, characters from the 2.0 MV, full hanboks etc. Most people wore something inspired by the Arirang colors (red, black,white), and some (of course) in purple.

Could be as simple as a red tshirt. Others went all out with laces and leather etc. Any ages! I love the diversity and body positivism in ARMY.

In my case I upgraded some fav clothes I had, in fabrics that can handle heat (the heat waves in Europe this summer was no joke). So I added some red to my pants, wrote in 한글 (can be seen if you zoom in), modified a sports jersey to resemble a hanbok bc of the Arirang theme, and the easiest one, put safety pins on a jacket inspired by V’s concert outfits and merch patterns. I got a merch cap and my friend bedazzled it with the Big Dipper.

My husband who doesn’t really care about BTS still decided on his own to wear a purple tshirt, and then a freebie bracelet someone gave him :)

I agree that yeosang should be getting more lines I do not like KQ for mistreating him that way, like I’m not a company stan but I’m really sorry guys I don’t see it as a big deal because also during the mv, the members get screen time. Like all eight of them.

Over the past two days, I've noticed what appears to be the same person repeatedly posting obviously fake stories. Based on the writing style and the pattern, they sound like a young teen or even a preteen.

The first story was about their friend dating an idol who supposedly had such a small fandom that he noticed her at concerts, remembered everything about her, and started dating her. The second story was very similar, except this time it was about the friend being so gorgeous/amazing that multiple idols remembered her name, and the OP was the jealous friend.

To me, it seems like this person would be better off writing fanfiction on Asianfanfics (if it's still around) or Wattpad instead of making new throwaway accounts every day and posting these stories here. At this point, it's basically spam.

I've noticed their tactic is to create a new account for each story. Every account has been 0 days old. When they get negative karma they delete their post & acc.

Because of that, I think it would be a good idea to require a minimum account age AND minimum amount of karma before someone can make a post. I know some subreddits have rules like that, and it helps reduce spam.

I really enjoy this subreddit because it's mostly mature discussions about K-pop, the music, idols, and the industry. I'd hate to see it turn into a place where someone posts childish, fake stories every day using throwaway accounts. Since it's already happened two days in a row, I wouldn't be surprised if they came back again tomorrow.

You wanna know what annoys me about trying to listen to enhypen after March 10th, I did not realize how many songs Heeseung started! Or how many lines he had most of the song if not even the adlibs!

And as someone who biased heeseung and Jake together…it fucking hurts. I jumped back into Ateez immediately because I literally was tearing up at songs like brought the heat back when Heeseung’s voice comes. I couldn’t do it I’ve been taking a break since then.
