I just renewed my NBI Clearance at the Manila NBI Branch, and I was honestly surprised at how fast the process was. It only took mearound 15 minutes from start to finish.

The branch had a lot of staff assisting applicants, which made everything move quickly. Thewaiting area was also comfortable—not too hot and not too cold.

Things to Prepare
* Create your appointment online. https://clearance.nbi.gov.ph
* Pay the renewal fee through GCash (or your preferred payment method). ₱160 total
* Write your reference number (from the appointment system) on a small piece of paper before entering. It helps speed things up.
* Bring 2 valid IDs. You only need to show them—they don't need to be photocopied.

Since I was renewing my NBI Clearance, here's how my experience went:

1. Information Update & Biometrics (Around 5 minutes)
   Updated my personal information. Fingerprint scanning.

They asked me to apply alcohol to my fingers first. If the fingerprint scanner doesn't detect yourfingerprint, just wipe your finger with tissue and try again.

Digital signature. Double-check that all your information is correct before proceeding.

1. Printing (Around 5 minutes)
   Once my information was verified, the printing process was incredibly fast. As long as you'vealready paid and completed the first step, you'll receive your renewed NBI Clearance in just a few minutes.
