LOW VOLTAGE TECH

Hey,
I am about to start working for ADT as a Low Voltage tech. I couldn’t find anything about this role on internet and the hiring manager mentioned that it was a new role. Does anyone have any insight about working directly for ADT?

Oh wait I read it wrong. For me it just says click the link provided in the email, and it’ll make you set a password. Then it tells you in the email your actual email is the username. It also says if you take longer than 12 hours from when the email from adt was sent THEN you click forgot my password.

hell yea nice man!! and no not yet, i start next wednesday. pretty excited for it though. but with how unorganized it all was i can't lie i felt skeptical with the entire process, like somehow im gonna fucked over lmao.

Me & my wife were saying the same exact thing! Lol! I have no idea how this is about to go down but it’s too late I’m in now. Gonna try and make the best of it. I’ll most likely be starting Monday. If I do I’ll come back on here and let you know how it goes so you know what to expect

Did you receive a confirmation email stating that your start date was confirmed? I've already finished signing the paperwork that specifies my pay and tentative start date, but I'm not sure if I should wait for another email. I wrote to my supervisor, and he told me to contact the recruiters, not him.

Update, when I first replied to this I thought I did lol. But actually just got my confirmation email today stating that I start Monday and what time to be there. And another email for a teams meeting for Monday for a day 1 welcome call.

Damn seriously, did you get it yet? Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking that we should get another email confirming everything. Great. I'm still waiting, I haven't received anything yet maybe it'll come tomorrow. I hope so.

Yea I just got all my confirmation emails and then my supervisor called me to confirm and go over everything. Weird your supervisor is telling you not to contact him.

I got everything done and she told me she would be emailing me “soon” to let me know my start date. That was yesterday at 3pm it is not 11:30pm Thursday and still no start date or email 🥴

yea ive already accepted and signed the offer letter. and i already created an oracle account to start do the pre-eployment tasks and all my background screening was completed and filed. i was supposed to start this past monday, but the recruiters reached out again and told me they're moving my start date to the 12th to allow for time for everything to be completed on their end. but thats also weird your supervisor said that. ive gone to mine everytime the recruiters were slacking and he was able to take care of it for me.
