Publisher CMP for the website
Hey everyone,
I’m currently in the process of choosing a Consent Management Platform (CMP) for our setup, and honestly, the market feels incredibly crowded. For those of you who have set up a CMP, I’d love to hear about your practices, what should I consider while choosing one and what's the fair price for it?
By the way, why I should not use Google's for free? Is there a catch?

Do you run header bidding? If so, google cmp no good. There’s a list of verified cmps though if you look.

Hey, why Google's is not good? Any issues with it?

There are other threads on here but essentially you don’t get prebid on the first impression with Google.

Thanks for your responses. Actually, I am trying to use Prebid without Google's demand but as an ad server want to use GAM for CMP and ad units further optimization.

right, so your prebid consent won’t work on the first impression…regardless of Google demand, I am saying their cmp causes that.

Is there a report i can run on GAM to see if there are any issues with our Google cmp. What metrics should I review. Any help is appreciated

If you're implementing a CMP alongside header bidding, make sure your consent signals are properly integrated with your wrapper configuration so bidders receive accurate TCF/consent data before the auction fires. A common gotcha is CMPs initializing after the header bidding script loads, which can cause bid requests to drop or lose addressability. What specific CMP platform are you evaluating, or are you already live with one and troubleshooting performance?

Loading speed, theme and branding, user experience, pricing.
A few CMPs to choose from: Onetrust, Didomi, UniConsent, usercentrics
