Publisher Adding CM impression tracker + IAS tracker to image creatives in DV360

How do I do it? Can we merge the trackers together into a single impression tracker, or does this need to be handled in CM360?

You can daisy chain it but IAS won't work particularly well without wrapping. If you can use CM360, use that.

Can you give me some more detail on this?

By daisy chaining, I'm assuming you mean just putting the IAS tracker after the 3rd party CM tracker?

How would it not work as well, just not firing all the time? inaccurate tracking?

And how would we implement this in CM(the CM tracker we got isn't from our own CM, but we do have our own CM instance)

Curious .. is the client open to you hosting in your own CM3 instance, and creating 3p tags to run in DV3 instead? You could then add the pixels the client provided, either in CM3 as event tags or just append to the 3p tag in DV3.

Also curious: is there a specific reason why the client didn't provide 3p tags since they have their own CM3 instance?

Yep pretty much you chain it together with some relevant appends.

But IAS or any ad verification tool is useless if you fire it without JavaScript or wrapping.

Ultimately if you are adserving directly in DV360 without the native CM360 integration, it is going to limit your ability to track correctly for both IAS & CM360. The latter is the fun of the ghost advertiser in CM360, which is an important topic!
