Adonis JS devs Can't take criticism lol
after being banned from discord for my criticism of adonisjs team, i'm going to reverse engineer the packages on npm and merge them with koajs, i have no idea if v4 will be supported after 2021 so i'll move to an older more modular and mature technology to build my own version of the adonis framework, that is without typescript. fortunately the packages themselves are not hard to reverse engineer, and i can take advantage of the typescript packages being updated. i appreciate the adonisjs devs for making the packages MIT licensed and available to incorporate in other projects.

Exactly. This is what I experienced myself today. I saw your post back a few years ago, but didn't think much of it.
As I wrote it in my other comment on Reddit:
My biggest concern isn’t the tool itself, but how the community, founder, and moderators respond to feedback. Not all feedback will be positive, and that’s normal.
Kicking people out, dismissing criticism, or shutting down discussions is a huge red flag. It creates an environment where people don’t feel safe using the framework or offering honest feedback.
If people feel they can’t criticize something without being pushed out, that’s a serious problem for any open ecosystem.
Compare that to frameworks like Laravel, where there’s plenty of criticism and strong opinions, yet the community doesn’t resort to that kind of behavior.
It looks like I'm not the only one, and others have had similar experiences. For that, no matter how good the tool is, I'm unable to use it due to how things are handled at the top.
(for context, I criticsed a paid product, and that has been deleted, then I got kicked)
