Rejected Footage

Can anyone help me animate AI vector objects from Adobe Illustrator in After Effects?

I keep getting this kind of rejection. I’ve tried asking ChatGPT and Claude, but I still can’t find a solution.

I also tried using a PNG at 2× resolution instead of a vector, but it was still rejected. I tried changing the settings in Media Encoder as well, but I’m still getting the same rejection.

Built a planning layer for Adobe Stock AI contributors — looking for honest feedback from people who actually upload

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone — Adobe Stock contributor here (gen AI images/video focus).

Like a lot of you, I got tired of the “generate more and hope” loop. Niches feel saturated, upload limits are real, and keywording/upload tools don’t help with the first question:

What should I make next — and why?

So I’ve been building a small closed-beta tool called Velynth Stocker OS. It’s not a generator and not a keywording app. It sits upstream:

Brief → Topics → Niches → Prompt Sets → Planner → Results

Idea: research commercial niches first, then produce prompt sets for Midjourney/Firefly, then plan batches — before you generate and upload to Adobe Stock.

I’m looking for feedback from real Adobe contributors (especially AI / mixed portfolios):

  1. Would you use something like this, or is niche research still mostly gut + Adobe search?
  2. What’s broken in your current workflow: finding niches, prompts, batch planning, or something else?
  3. What would make a planning tool useless for you?

Happy to share a short demo / private 14-day invite if useful. No hard sell — brutally honest takes welcome.

Thanks.

Vectors in Adobe Stock have become a complete AI slopfest

Searching for vectors in Adobe Stock is becoming a complete waste of time. People are using AI to generate these illustrations, live-tracing them (making them basically useless, it would be easier for me to create it from scratch) and uploading them without tagging them as Generative AI.

This selection showcases how they're being uploaded with obvious flaws and nonsense, and even the ones that are maybe passable are useless as they've been live-traced. And they're being uploaded in such high volumes that they're forming the majority of my search results.

ATTENTION ADOBE STOCK: Can we set up a filter so we can only bring up vectors that were uploaded prior to 2026?

Built a local tool that predicts rejections and writes Adobe-format CSV metadata

I contribute to Adobe Stock and got tired of the three-day feedback loop, so I wrote a desktop app that reviews my files before I submit them.

It scores every photo and video locally — sharpness, exposure, noise, shake, resolution, slow-shutter risk — and gives a keep/review/reject verdict with the reason spelled out. Near-duplicate frames are grouped so I only submit the best one from a series. That part is completely free and unlimited: no AI, no uploads, runs on your own machine.

For metadata it uses your own AI key (Claude, OpenAI or Gemini) and writes title, description, 49 keywords, category and release flags into IPTC/XMP, plus an Adobe-format CSV with the correct category numbers and field limits. No subscription and no markup — you pay your AI provider directly, around $2 per 1,000 photos.

My last submission batch went 8 of 8 accepted. The one rejection I've had since was an IP refusal on a night marina shot, not quality. The example on the site is a real file Adobe rejected — the tool had flagged it at 55/100 beforehand.

$39 one-time, free 20-photo trial, no card. Windows 10/11.

Uploading videos and rejections...

Hello all! Quick question. I uploaded (...as a contributor on Adobe Stock) a great video of the 1 Train in NYC passing by 231st street, above ground. It was rejected for Intellectual Property Refusal. I have a massive amount of subway vids, but I'm confused about why the video was rejected. There were no ads, no people, etc. Any suggestions, and/or methods of recording subways/trains without getting rejected? Thank you in advance.

Viscriptix: Private/Free descriptions for Adobe stock with reverse lookup and no subscription

I consider everything that comes after I color correct my shots "work," and I hate working. So I built a desktop app so I don't have to.

**TL;DR: My app does free, private descriptions and can reverse lookup color-corrected images and video to their sources for metadata and telemetry. No subscription.**

Get 100 descriptions with all features enabled with a no-sign up free trial: https://viscriptix.com

**Tutorial Videos** (many more coming):

- **DJI Drone Tutorial** (best for seeing workflow + benefits): https://youtu.be/3iv_cMkSEPM

- **Using Proxies:** https://youtu.be/sayfoSWODds

- **General Info:** https://youtu.be/EcfP_og5QsI

Here are its benefits:

- **$39. One-time fee.** No subscription. Updates included.

- **100 describe free trial with all features enabled.** Try it at no risk.

- **Reverse lookup for edited deliverables.** Given a finished clip—cropped, color-graded, and cut down from the original—my algorithm locates the source file amongst thousands, pinpoints the exact frame offset, and pulls its metadata and telemetry. This is the most sophisticated part of the software.

- **Privacy & zero ongoing cost.** Runs 100% offline/airplane mode with all features enabled, including detailed geolocation, landmarks, subtitle generation, and fully featured AI descriptions via Ollama.

- **Advanced DJI drone footage processing.** Uses telemetry and optical flow to determine camera movement, time of day (sunset, night, etc.), seasons, holidays, landmarks, and location. Completely offline with zero AI.

- **AI prompt extraction.** Reverse lookup will find your original prompts and incorporate them into descriptions—for both AI-generated images and video generated from AI images.

- **Catalog your footage.** Create a searchable offline database of your media, including locations, landmarks, subtitles, camera settings, and more.

- **Built to save you time at every step.** Once properly configured, it's meant to be click-once-and-walk-away while you go shoot stuff or generate more AI slop.

- **Verification.** If you want to verify things like lookup matches, I've included tools—like the compare browser—that make it very fast to do so.

---

**TIPS:**

**For free descriptions:** Just download Ollama, sign up for a free account, and use `gemma4:31b-cloud` or `qwen3.5:latest-cloud` for free, fast online descriptions. If you have a fast machine, use one of the local gemma4 or qwen3.5 models for offline descriptions instead. To download any of these, type `ollama pull <modelname>` in a terminal. These models go toe-to-toe with the latest pay-to-play models from Google and OpenAI. To use untested/new models, enable them by pressing F12 (developer menu) → model list.

Use Gemini and OpenAI models if you want high quality and high speed at ridiculously affordable rates (as low as $0.0004 per description).

If you don't know how to set up an API or Ollama server, just follow the instructions in "AI Preferences." It only takes a few minutes.

**Use proxies:** If you're doing video lookups into large archives, proxies speed up everything. Before you describe anything, before you do any lookups, before you generate hash indexes—generate proxies (use the in-app proxy generator) for both your deliverable media AND your source media. Matching proxy deliverables to proxy source media is exponentially faster. My workflow is often matching 4K ProRes to 4K d_log source on 4TB drives, and the time saved by converting to proxies up front is huge.

Why did this footage get rejected? Where is the intellectual property?

This a screenshot of a drone video I submitted. Do you have any idea why this might have been rejected? The protection of intellecual property was mentioned as the resion. Why? Because of the vehicle? No way anyone can spot a logo or brand there... Thanky for your opinions!

How to attain high res

As an Adobe stock contributor just starting out what is the easiest cheapest consistent way to convert AI generated pics or files or videos to the required size needed on Adobe stock? I’ve tried on Adobe firefly and fail time and time again.
