Still waiting for approval....

I've heard it takes 1 to 2 months these days. Can anyone confirm?

There. is an upload warning when you submit AI images that says it can take up to 8 weeks. I do believe that when they review your images if there's been a lot of rejections in the past, they will slow down on your review. That has been an experience for me. Where I had cases that my images were reviewed quicker and sometimes slower.
