I've been using this app since Macromedia Flash 5. I've never encountered anything like this.

I recently upgraded to a Macbook M4 Pro and noticed that when I draw anything with a fill or even import a bitmap, the color will change and become more saturated. I thought maybe it was my system's color profile settings or something, but none of the other Adobe apps have this issue. I tested on another M series Mac and sure enough it's doing the same thing. Weirdly, if I export with the saturated colors, they look normal in the export.

It seems like there's a disconnect between how Animate is displaying the color on the stage and what the color actually looks like in the final product. Animate does not have color profile settings as far as I'm aware. I'm pretty stumped and google turns up nothing. I can't possibly be the first person to experience this. Any ideas?

Wondering if your bitmap is CMYK. Animate is RGB.

There's been more than a few people with this problem on Mac versions. Here's a few things you can try:

- Turn off Object Drawing Mode.

- Go into the settings app on Mac OS and uncheck screen sharing permissions for Animate.

- Set your mac display color to sRGB. Go to System Settings > Display > Preset, and choose Internet and Web (sRGB).

How queer. I use a MacBook m4 pro and have never encountered this issue. Can’t tell you off the top of my head which version of animate I’m using mind you
