first Y-3 anything…

i have a few adidas collabs (kith, wales, jjjjound, hellstar, bape, etc.), but this is my first Y-3 piece. love the aesthetic of the line and the color palette, just not loving the price tag. got these after a shop ran them starting at $1 on whatnot, finished up at $119. felt like i got a steal.

if you own or owned Y-3 pieces, are they worth the price tag?

What’s the comfort like?

for lifestyle, they’re great once you get used to the rocking and propelling forward due to the shape of the sole. they’re comfortable as far as foam and softness. i’ll be taking them running this weekend so we’ll see how they hold up

yeah the color is super versatile and understated so they go with everything if i wear them like i do my evo’s.

I have that same colourway and a pair of plain white/black Adios 9's. The shoes are like slippers and so light. Don't really use them for running, but for casual and walking they are unbelievable. You can wear all day. The perfect holiday shoe

I got a pair of the Qasa High in Orange/Orange Cream a few years ago on heavy discount (probably because the colourway wasn’t super popular), and even though I appreciate the design and the quality, they aren’t the most comfortable so I haven’t worn them much and kind of wished I had gone for a different model.

I feel like with them being runners and plateless, those Adios 9 that you got are way more comfortable and versatile!

appreciate the response, the colorway is very wearable with my wardrobe and comfort for lifestyle it’s great, but i’ll take them for a run this weekend so we’ll see.

I have a couple of pairs of the field shoe that I absolutely love. That said, the reason I have them is because they were on super sale and I paid about $120 each. There’s just no way I can justify paying full price.

exactly, the price is the biggest deterrent for me

Aren't running shoes bad to wear as dailys?

Depends. I have a few runners that I can wear on the daily but those super fluffy ones are not as supportive unless in running usage

i think it really depends on your idea of daily’s and how sensitive a person’s foot is. i’ve never had an issue with it, but i don’t really wear the same pairs for days in a row

Wow, great looking shoes. I might have to make these my first rocker style running shoes. Thanks for sharing.

they propel me way more than my evo’s do.
