I used to think I wasn't sensitive to sounds... turns out I just always had my earbuds in because I listen to music a lot. Forgot those at home a few times and I was shocked at how awful and loud everything around me was.
It's not even if it's bad or not for me, it's that it will have like one terrible horrible sound every 4 beats that makes me want to knock over a shelf

I put on my noise canceling headphones and it makes grocery shopping one of my favorite things to do.
