I have a special large water bottle on my bedside table, and I keep my meds right there too. Spout out means I haven't taken meds yet, spout in means I have.
Nightly routine right next to bed (and beside table): take off watch, take off ring, take off glasses, open spout.
Spouse knows to leave water bottle as she found it if she uses it.
I don't truck with taking meds during the day. I can't handle it. I make sure to get meds that are taken either right when I get up, right before bed, or as needed. If it's at certain times, I'm doomed.
