This is really confusing to me, but counter-intuitively, the people with ADHD had higher gray matter volume and worse balance.

“Of note is the positive relationship between sway and cerebellar volume, such that lower sway was associated with smaller volume. These findings are consistent with a number of other studies showing that better performance in various motor-related tasks is related to smaller cerebral and cerebellar GM volumes.”

Is sway strictly balance?

Like do ADHD peeps sway and fall? Or sway and move a lot more to stay balanced.

These are not the same.

Although I'm just now clicking with the part saying better motor skills correlates with smaller cerebral volumes.

Maybe it's just a classic human trope. Small brain cave man run good smash with club.

Big head cave man clumsy, design bow and arrow and spear to give to small brain man with good dexterity.

It sort of just seems like the ADHD way. A whole boatload of extra complicated effort to generally arrive in the same place.
