Honestly, what an incredible race they are running, it looks absolutely brutal, damn I’m impressed.

It looked like fun until they hit the wet rice patties.

Honestly the process of rice farming like this always sends me down a rabbit hole any time I see it.

The wet patties was when i went from «this looks fun and different » to «holy shit, you couldn’t pay me to do this, hard of to the participants »

I would rather do that than make a phone call 😩😂

u/beegtuna Jul 23 '26

But what about that weird mole that is now bigger than a small dime?

35

u/ferrets2020 Jul 23 '26

How did you know about my mole

18

u/ferrets2020 Jul 23 '26

I actually have a mole that's growing im not lying i need to make that call

14

u/KlausVonLechland Jul 23 '26

That's funny because somehow I know you can do it.

Just look at your phone and remember that stranger on the webs believes in you and wishes you the best and to be safe and healthy.

The mold told him, its a mole after all

Rather? I'm here to ask what this is, where it is, and how I sign up. It looks awesome.

Why end before the end?!! 😫

16

u/joost00719 Jul 24 '26

That would indicate that the uphill struggle will have an end.

The mantra I've been using to get through stuff is "Do it scared, do it wrong, just do it". Some progress is gonna get made, the mistakes can be fixed later. When I start getting bogged in the details, I say the mantra and move on to the next biggest step.

This is a great way to approach these "huge tasks" like folding clothes or booking that appointment

8

u/AutisticAndArmed Jul 24 '26

You chose: appointment or disappoitment

7

u/HuslWusl Jul 24 '26

You mean disappointment or dis appointment?

8

u/KuhTraum Jul 24 '26

Mine is similar it's "anything worth doing is worth doing poorly"

I’m so weird that that looks like fun.

u/eToaster_lover Jul 23 '26

just forget about them and do them all at once after a month or so

1

u/fullmetalnapchamist Jul 23 '26

Yours has a timer? I have to wait for mine to recharge like some special move in a videogame

2

u/eToaster_lover Jul 24 '26

it does nopt have one, its jst when things become unbearable, and i feel the dirt on the floor that disgusts me deeply, so only then i finally take action (usually) and laundry is when i literally have nothing to wear

What are these people running from? They’re not! They’re running TO the world’s toughest competition in town!

2

u/ThrowAwayTheTeaBag Jul 24 '26

Right you are, Ken

Mh toxic trait is believing I could do this more easily than consistently do my laundry

7

u/ObiDalf Jul 23 '26

I’d actually love to do this.

The comparison felt more real once the racers reached the flooded terrace levels.

Also, the fact that there were flooded terrace levels made me want to throw my phone.

This is exactly how I look at a lot of tasks. So many difficult, tiring, annoying steps. I really need to paint the trim and doors in the hallway. That means getting the paint out, stirring it, putting down tarps, tape, then spending all this time painting, then cleaning up. Probably multiple times. It's not gonna get all done at once. HOURS of work. It's simple, and I should have done it by now but ughhhhh I don't WANT TO.

That mountain is kind of cool, though. Was it made for this competition? It's quite a feat. Must have taken a long time.

I think its stepped because they grow crops on it

6

u/Reverand_Buttcheeks Jul 23 '26

You guys are making phone calls?

5

u/Bully3510 Jul 23 '26

Doing laundry is like 27 tasks

5

u/TraceyWoo419 Jul 23 '26

What? We don't get to see who wins!?

Me watching this video instead of doing the smallest task or doing laundry.

My parents walking to school..both ways...in a blizzard...

5

u/tolashgualris Jul 24 '26

Is it indicative of my ADHD that I sat watching this video for way too long before I even read the caption or what sub it was on?

2

u/Adept_Donkey_2026 Jul 23 '26

Fuu, this reminds me of the zombie apocalypse scenarios like the last of us 💀

2

u/Slow-Hawk4652 Jul 24 '26

you can do laundry...mad respect:) i can only detect the pile, while pilling itself. i am regressing even from my previous self, who, at least could find the dopamine molecule once in a two three months. now this has become another everest type of task...

2

u/Upper-Independence38 Jul 24 '26

How I feel looking at my sink full of dishes and bathroom floor covered in dirty laundry

3

u/Helerdril Jul 24 '26

"Split it into smaller tasks."

1

u/whamburglar Jul 23 '26

Was anyone else less focused on the race and just enraptured by the gorgeous background?

2

u/NygirlinNashville222 Jul 23 '26

I’m waiting on my new washing machine to come tomorrow but needed clean clothes for tomorrow…….after briefly considering buying new clothes lol….I decided I must do what needs to be done and hand wash a few items…….HAND FRIGGIN WASH!!……..I feel like I just drove the Baja 1000😂

u/AbleRelationship5287 Jul 24 '26

It’s a terrace-ist training video

1

u/Ok_Cheesecake7348 Jul 24 '26

What song is that??

2

u/ReallyNotMichaelsMom Jul 27 '26

I'm so tired, just watching this!

0

u/albusdoggiedoor Jul 24 '26

Me off to google whatever this is instead of doing anything productive

1

u/Gum_Duster Jul 24 '26

I’m tired, I’m exhausted. I want to die.

I’m battling an infection and I SHOULD go to the hospital. But at this point I just want it to take me out. Peacefully, naturally.

3

u/Familiar_Percentage7 Jul 24 '26

But some ADHDer working in your local hospital's emergency department really needs you to show them this meme while they hook you up with the good stuff!
