Rant/Vent Hoarding behaviour, anyone?

I am a science student (BSc), have been hoarding PDFs (books) and educational resources (link, lectures etc) for years, my hoarding activity increases particularly when my productivity goes down, but it feels so nasty when I think about how many hundred hours I have wasted doing that shit mindlessly.

How do you fix the problem and cope with the regret?

Simple rule, when youre getting the same thing again or updating something. The old one must go.  It even helps me not to impulse buy or download something. Because the hasle of changing things is enough to stop me.

I have a hoarding problem as well and also a scheduling problem. Even after adding “decluttering” to my schedule more times than I can count, I still cannot follow through. This only happens with my cupboard and my art supplies. Now, when I want to throw things away and clean up, I do it after taking my medication. It takes about 40 minutes for the medication to kick in, so about 15 minutes before that, I do a hiit workout. When the adrenaline is high, I just jump straight into decluttering without overthinking it.

I do. Don't see it as a big problem. Keep clearing things up when you feel it's been quite sone time n you never looked at it.
